Kirsten Richards is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Postpartum Doula. She completed the DONA International approved Doula Training in December 2021 and has been working as a Birth and Postpartum Doula in the community since February 2022. She received her Massage Therapy training from the Acadia School of Massage and License from the State of Maine. Kirsten has a Bachelors of Science in Child Development and Family Relations concentrating in Human Development and Reproductive Education. Kirsten was the director of the MDIHS Infant/Toddler program for 5 years working with children ages 6 weeks-2 years and created the program's first ever comprehensive teen pregnancy curriculum. She still works with the program on an as needed basis for teen parents and teaches said curriculum, as well as, offering Doula support services. Kirsten moved her practice to 54 Herrick Wellness Collective in the fall of 2023 specializing in Esalen massage, prenatal/postpartum services and spa treatments. Cancellation Policy

I require at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Clients who cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice will be billed 50% of the price of the scheduled service. This includes no shows. We understand that emergencies and illnesses can arise, therefore last minute cancellations due to things such as verifiable emergencies, illnesses or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges. This includes if the appointment is rescheduled. However, this is to be determined at the practitioner's discretion.
